the one rose
"it is the time you have wasted on your rose that makes your rose so important." that's what the fox told the little prince in the children's book the little prince. no matter where the little prince went and despite the number and the likeness of the roses he saw compared to his rose, he still longed for and thought about the single rose he left back at his planet.
ka-relate ba? :) ako, relate kaagad! hehehe. when you've invested so much time on someone, whether being with him or just thinking about him when you're not together, it's hard to shake him off and out of your system even if there's a need to do so. even if there's someone else who could be better than him in more ways than one, you still find yourself running back to him, or at least, thinking about him. and like the little prince who still took care of and wished well his rose (as far as i recall of the story) despite his rose' aloofness towards him, we still continue to care for and wish well our beloved despite the hurts he causes or you cause to yourself.
ayyy... ma-drama na entry... hehehe... well, what's life without drama? what's love without drama? ganyan talaga ang magmahal... pero pag-nagising ka, masasabi mo rin, ay maraming rosas jan... sa palengke, sa grocery store, sa hardin, sa flower shop, at kahit ung rosas ng iba... mamili ka lang... mas mabango, maganda, at sariwa pa... bwehehehe!
got the little prince quote pala from a comment from joe's blog at www.jobarclix.com :)
