Mis-Taking One's Advice

i told one of my closest guy friends that the "my best friend's wedding" type of deals are not romantic. why have a deal with your best friend na kung wala pa kayong siginificant other by the time you're 30 or 35, eh kayo na lang magsama. why not magsama na lang now? obviously, gusto nyo ung isa't isa to ever consider that arrangement. if hindi nyo gusto ung isa't isa as partners in life till death do u part, y make such a deal? pag inabutan kayo nung age limit na sinet nyo at ayaw nyo pala, ang mangyayari nyan extend nang extend nang age hanggang umabot ng 80 kasi wala pa rin kayong mahanap!

well, in a way nagtaray ako nung sabihin ko yun. pero guilty din naman ako nyan pala! hehehe. about two weeks ago, i was planning on making a proposal to one of my special friends na pag single pa kami by 35, kami na lang magsama! haller to me! di mo ba nabasa advice mo sa taas emman???

ok, i'll decide na lang on that later. kailangan ko pa kasi isiping mabuti kung gusto ko nang mag-settle down or magpakasaya pa! :p

My American Idol

And there he was, my American Idol, Elliott Yamin, eliminated. Sad! :(

I expected it, actually, after his performances which were just OK. He didn't have a "moment" song unlike Taylor and Kat and unlike his two performances the previous week. And since I expected it, I shouldn't be very sad right now, di ba? Pero haller! He had the most touching video among the three of them. So I'm sad to see him go! And I'm pretty certain that many people out there are sad as well for his exit. I feel that his exit makes people sadder compared to Kat and Taylor going (if they were the ones eliminated).

I don't cry over people getting voted out. Pero, sobrang pinipigilan ko kanina umiyak. Kahit pala si Sue naiiyak! At gusto pang gawing boyfriend si Elliott! Sorry Sue, akin sya! hehehe

Ang lamang lang naman ni Kat and Taylor sa kanya is confidence. But vocally, he's way greater than them both combined! hehehe... Ang maka-Kat at Taylor dyan wag umangal. Ang aangal pangit! :p

Hay. Hay. Hahay. I can't even form my sentences well. Dati napapangitan ako sa kanya pero habang pinapakinggan ko sya kumanta, na-i-in love ako!

Kung ano ano na ang da-da ko dito! Basta, for me, Elliott is the American Idol. Actually, Universal Idol ko sya! Ever!

yipee!!!! elliott wasn't eliminated! but chris was. :(

i think my last post takes away my credibility as a psychic! i predicted that elliott would be the one to go and that chris would ultimately win american idol! but i was wrong on both predictions. elliott was even in the top 2!!!! gosh!

i don't mind not being credible anymore! what matters is elliott is still IN! he IS really the MAN!!! he should win!

and oh, it really should have been kat to go.

oh well! go ELLIOTT YAMIN! :D

American Idol

i'm depressed. i just watched american idol where MY american idol almost moved me to tears with his first song. elliot is my remaining american idol after patrick hall, david radford, and paris were eliminated.

i'm depressed since i have this great feeling that he'll be eliminated next despite his awesome performance. he was just the best tonight with both his renditions of elvis' songs. the judges were unanimous in giving him praises for his great performance. simon even said that he's the underdog but deserves to stay for the next round. i hope he does.

the remaining four are all talented but it's elliot who has the best voice. he can sing the sentimental songs and make you cry. and for someone like me who doesn't cry easily, with elliot, my gall bladder is near my eyes!

if he's really good and did a great performance, you may ask why i'm worried. it's because the other three are more popular. oh well, i just hope simon is right. and i'm hoping even more that he'll reach the finals. even if i really think that chris will win the competition.

here's what happened in this so-called life of mine after my last post:

feb 3, 2006 - my now company called me up for the approval of my employment pass... i think i set the record for fastest employment pass approved ever! imagine, i got it in only 3 working days!!! i was informed by HR that it takes two to three weeks! gosh! ang haba ng hair ko... di lang ako panalo sa company, panalo pa ko sa ministry of manpower ng singapore! go emman girl! :p

feb 4, 2006 - 3Ls - laba, luto, limpyo

feb 5, 2006 - barbecue party galore at bullion park with romeo, susan, johnny, shih, lai, bendz, and romeo's friend (dina), my friends (jerrha, maricris, carol, ken), bendz' friends (joyce, boboy), shih's guest of honor (shela), lai's admirer (franco), and sue's guests (hermes, cary)... gosh, ken was so late! and when he came, he was in long-sleeved polo and slacks so i told him "this is a barbecue party and not a ballroom party" hehehe... of course, he just came from church so he changed into another costume... and oh, we had a trumps tournament... joyce and i emerged second after being beaten to death by the ever unbeatable lovers sue and johnny!

feb 7, 2006 - i was officially ushered into the premises of gemplus as a part of the R&D department... and awestruck i was at how great and blessed i am to be here in this company!!! i was so impressed by the processes, the organization, and the people... and i spotted one cutie right away... hmmm, he reminds me of the first every guy who made tibok my virgin puso! :p

feb 8 - 13, 2006 - contemplating every minute if i should give my heart to someone whose nickname is my all time favorite name in a guy! ang puso ko talaga!

feb 14, 2006 - yes it's valentine's day! i didn't have a date, mind you... but i wasn't sad either, more mind you! :p i went to starhub to open a mobile account under my company's corporate plan! 30% off! yippeee!!! and i got a samsung e360 for only $88! and cutie cutie this one is... the only two things that's lacking to it to make me fully happy are a PC data link (no cable or CD at all) and an external memory expansion slot... nevertheless, the phone is so me!!! small but pretty! :p so i'm very happy!

feb 16, 2006 - i decided i could not love someone who reminds me of colin farrel! :p i requested a song to a local radio station that i listen to in my phone while working with the following message: "hi! shian here! can i request for the song 'push the button' by the sugababes? it's dedicated to baby ****** who is the nonsense who made sense in my life!" and trulili!!! the DJ read my message on air but he didn't play the song! :(

feb 17, 2006 - i have my PC now!!! yipeee... writing a blog now!!! and just decided that the cutie i saw on my first day at work is the one i'm going to marry because he reminds me of my first love! ang puso ko talaga!
